TRANSPOSSIBLE: Trans and gender diverse communities envisioning creative futures

myriad collective is looking for trans and gender diverse artists and performers to be part of our performance showcase and visual arts exhibition in May at Library at The Dock.
This event builds on the work started by the Reframing Gender project of 2014-2015. We’re ecstatic to have this platform again for the fourth year and we’d love to hear from you!
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or someone willing to brave it for the first time, we’re interested in your ideas and work. All aspects of your EOI will remain confidential, and will only be viewed by the collective. Just contact us by filling in the EOI form attached by 30th of March 2017.
Performances on 12th & 13th May 2017

Exhibition starts on May 1st, with official opening on Thursday May 4th. Exhibition ends 26th May 2017.
This will be a group show featuring a maximum of 10 artists. Each artist can present ONE work or series (ie. a triptych), and we can accommodate most visual arts media.

myriad collective work to create spaces for Trans and Gender Diverse people which means we are only considering Trans and Gender Diverse people for this event. We will be prioritising artists who are further marginalised within the TGD community, including Indigenous people, people of colour, trans feminine people, people with disabilities, working class people and those living in poverty, people under 21 and over 45, and other TGD people who experience multiple forms of marginalisation.
